Why the Equity Research Graduate Programme?

Our Equity Research team covers over 2,500 companies globally and offers actionable insights and innovative products daily.

As an Equity Research analyst at Barclays, you will begin your journey with a seven-week intensive training program. During this training, you will acquire essential product and business knowledge, along with the critical skills needed for a successful start.

After your training, you'll become a part of a sector group within our team. Under the guidance of a Senior Analyst, you'll contribute your ideas and insights to investment theses and reports. As you hone your skills, you'll have the opportunity to present your ideas to clients and colleagues in Sales and Trading. Additionally, your responsibilities may include:

• Analysing industry macro trends and company financials
• Collecting, synthesizing, and interpreting data from publications and other sources
• Crafting both company-specific analysis and general thematic pieces
• Building and maintaining financial models and industry databases
• Developing and delivering marketing materials for clients

This is a targeted, fast-track program designed to focus on developing specialist technical expertise over 1-2 years.
