Key Responsibilities

• Market Analysis: Analyze markets to identify trading opportunities, understand risks, and design models to forecast prices.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Perform research and statistical studies of risk factors, and develop trade ideas with rigorous risk management.
• Trend Identification: Identify market pricing trends and discontinuities, and execute strategies with precision.
• Research & Development: Review research reports, stay updated on energy market developments, and build connections with external consultancies and our internal research team.

Requirements

• Educational Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Statistics, Business, Economics, Energy, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field. Expected graduation date in Spring/Summer 2025.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, R, Matlab, C++, VBA, Excel, and SQL. Python is the preferred programming language.
• Experience: Prior internship or exposure to commodities markets or experience with financial institutions/consulting is preferred.
• Analytical Abilities: Excellent analytical and technical skills, with the ability to analyze economic data and market fundamentals.
• Communication Skills: Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute positively.
