Emerging Markets Credit Analyst

Are you passionate about finance and international economics? MFS Investment Management is seeking a talented individual to join their team as an Emerging Markets Credit Analyst. In this role, you will conduct credit analysis, formulate investment recommendations, and contribute to research reports, all while collaborating with experienced professionals across the investment platform.

Responsibilities

• Credit Analysis: Analyze Emerging Markets issuers across various industries and formulate investment recommendations.
• Market Monitoring: Stay updated on market developments, including regulatory changes, political events, and financial trends.
• Financial Modeling: Build and update financial models, charts, and supporting materials.
• Research Reports: Develop and write research reports on company events, news, earnings, and other relevant topics.
• ESG Integration: Gather and communicate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) risks and opportunities.
• Collaboration: Engage with Research Associates, Analysts, and Portfolio Managers across the investment platform.

Requirements

• Relevant Experience: 1-3 years' experience in fixed income, equities, banking, or consultancy.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree with a strong interest in developing a career in EM Fixed Income research.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to gather, synthesize, and compile information concisely.
• Passion for Learning: Demonstrated passion for finance, international economics, and affairs.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organization: Detail-oriented and organized approach to work.
• Independence: Ability to work on complex projects in a self-directed manner.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
