Responsibilities

As a Graduate Project Manager, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for the successful delivery of diverse engineering projects for clients in the public and private sectors throughout the UK. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in Key Projects: Collaborate with the team to support the delivery of crucial engineering projects from inception to construction support.
  • Design and Management: Learn and apply pre and post-contract design and project management expertise throughout the RIBA lifecycle.
  • Effective Communication: Engage in robust stakeholder management and confidently present project updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Technical Excellence: Ensure technical accuracy and compliance with relevant standards in project work.
  • Organizational Skills: Plan and manage your work effectively to meet project requirements.
  • Learning and Growth: Gain exposure to bidding and work-winning practices while participating in the 2-year Graduate programme, focusing on developing key skills such as project management, business acumen, and personal effectiveness.

Requirements

To excel in this role, we are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

  • Qualifications: BSc or MSc (or equivalent) in project management or a closely related field.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues and clients through written and verbal means.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong numeracy, analytical, and report writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Time Management: Capacity to work within deadlines, both independently and collaboratively within teams.
  • Written Proficiency: Good written English skills for producing reports.
