Responsibilities

As a Junior Big Data Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Helping translate functional requirements into technical requirements.
• Assisting with the design and development of high-performing big data applications in a multi-tenancy cloud environment.
• Developing and implementing tools for data acquisition, extraction, transformation, management, and manipulation of large and complex data sets.
• Involvement in all aspects of development, including design, development, build, deployment, monitoring, and operations.
• Researching and experimenting with emerging technologies and industry trends to bring business value through early adoption.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• A minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a directly related IT discipline.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a meaningful way to various audiences.
• A passion for technology and a strong interest in becoming a Big Data Engineer.
• An excellent understanding of key concepts in data engineering as a foundation for growth.
• No previous consulting experience necessary, but a strong educational background and a hunger for learning.
• Flexibility regarding local and international travel.
• A flexible attitude towards working across different client projects.
