Responsibilities

• Sourcing/Deal Flow: Manage inbound deal flow, assess opportunities, and prepare summaries for deal reviews. Assist in due diligence and maintain the investment database.
• Investments: Support the investment process from origination to execution. Conduct financial analysis, research, and prepare presentations for investment committees and other stakeholders.
• Research: Undertake comprehensive market research, evaluate industry sectors, analyze risk factors, and identify potential purchase opportunities.
• Workflow Management: Ensure efficient preparation for meetings, events, and deal requirements. Manage external resources as needed.

Requirements

• Educational Background: Academic or professional background in health sciences/healthcare, preferably with a PhD or equivalent experience. A record of high academic achievement in business, finance, economics, natural science, or related fields is also acceptable.
• Work Experience: 1-2 years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, or equity research, preferably in the healthcare space. Experience at top consulting firms or investment banks is highly desirable.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with emerging trends and value drivers in the life science sector.
• Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to build trusted relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues, prospects, and industry contacts.
• Attributes: Detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and self-motivation.
